Morton’s Adds to Technical Expertise
Three members of Morton’s sales team have achieved their FACTS (Fertiliser Advisers Certification & Training Scheme) qualification, after completing the course at Greenmount Agricultural College.
The FACTS training will enable the team to provide professional advice to farmers who are keen to understand how to optimise fertiliser and nutrient management on farm.
The training forms part of an ongoing programme of staff development at Morton’s. The company is committed to investing in its people and enabling them to provide the highest level of technical support to customers.
Morton’s Technical Director Ray Morrison said: “We are delighted to be offering our customers an enhanced level of customer service through providing our staff with access to relevant technical training. Whilst we don’t sell fertilisers, it is important that our technical team have a complete picture of the challenges faced by farmers and can offer advice on the most economically and environmentally friendly fertiliser options. We are committed to ensuring that our staff continue to improve their technical knowledge on an ongoing basis. This enables us to add value to our customer’s business and make a positive contribution to farm profitability.”
